USPS tracking revealed the package was delivered Monday, 10/03/2016, at 10:51 a.m. Received my NOA1 in the mail today, 10/08/2016, with a receipt date of 10/04/2016 and receipt time of 19:08. The notice states that my conditional resident status is extended for one year and I am authorized employment and travel in this one-year extension period. It further states that I would be receiving an Application Support Center (ASC) appointment notice with a specific time, date, and location to get the biometrics done. I am also asked to send supporting documents with a copy of this receipt notice, if they have not already been sent.

Yes it's okay. Affidavits are secondary evidence. USCIS gives more importance to other primary evidence so you can even omit affidavits if you wish. Good luck!

Hello Friends,

I'm glad to join and be part of this forum. On Saturday (10/8/16) we received a letter from USCIS reminding us to file form i-751.

We're getting ready to send out the i-751 form for my husband this week (Hopefully tomorrow, Monday, or Tuesday).

A few Questions:

1) In the beginning it's asking for USCIS Elis Account Number (if Any). Is this the DOS Case # when we first applied with the i-130 (CR-xxx-xxx-xxx-xx)?

2) I'm the USC and have a daughter, from a previous relationship before I met my husband. And my husband and I don't have any children of our own together. On Part 5 "Information about your children" should I put my daughter's name (even though it's not my husband's child?).

3) The form states we need to submit evidence from the beginning of the marriage until now...does that mean we need to send all the paperwork we sent to the NVC previously?

4) So far we have the following evidence:

- Paperwork for buying a house (Deed of trust, home insurance, home inspection,etc.)

- Lease Contract for apartment we used to live in last year

- Bank Statements

- Utility Bills, Joint Credit Card statements, Copy of each of our Credit Cards

- Copy of joint car loan and also paperwork of when we applied (the letters you get from banks stating they didn't accept your car loan request & also the one that accepted us). Also provided monthly statements of car loan

- Car insurance showing both of our names

- Copies of flight itinerary, flight tickets, copy of each of our passport showing visa, and photos of trip to Egypt.

-Tax Return 2015

- Copy of front and back of his conditional green card.

- Copy of his passport showing i-551

Let me know if we're missing anything or if we should include additional documents?

I left the space blank where it asked for the ELIS number as I don't believe I have one.. I think it's the electronic filing system? I just didn't want to write something in there I wasn't sure about. Hopefully that's okay!

Hey Guys,

I'm a DEC filer too and I have some questions before I submit the documents to USCIS?

1. USCIS updated the I-751 form and right now I'm using 11/23/15 N that expires on 11/30/2017? Is that the most recent form?

2. I have same scenario as Maria& Abdo (item 2) where my USC Spouse has kids from previous relationship. Do I need to include them on part 5 "Information about Children"?

3. on 15.a, it says "In care of Name", Shall I put my name and my wife name or just leave it blank?

4. My wife (USC) changed her last name to mine last name, so should I put her new updated last name in the form? She already changed her last name with Social Security but her passport still has old last name.

5. in some of the box that does not apply to me, Do I just leave it blank or write 'None' or N/A', For e.g. my Middle Name (1C)?

I will really appreciate any help from ya'll. I'm glad I found this forum just on time. we hired a lawyer while filing I-130, it cost us a lot.

I have no idea if I did this right, but:

1. that's the same form I used (off USCIS website).

2. my USC spouse has a child from a previous marriage, and we have a child together. I only included my child on the form. It was my understanding that I should list my children only (I have none from my previous marriage).

3. I left that blank. No idea if that's a problem.

4. I would use your wife's new last name.

5. I would put N/A in the middle name box.

Hey guys,

If I have return transcripts and account transcripts from IRS for tax returns, Do I need to send the one that Turbox Tax sent me as well? I'm about to file mine I-751 at the end of this month.

We finally sent off our paperwork so I added us to the list.

Now the waiting begins.....

Also, in case you were not aware....you cannot use FedEx or UPS to send paperwork to a PO Box. (We didn't know this since we used a lawyer last time when we filed the I-130). We went to the USPS and they have Priority Mail express which you can track online.
