Indeed...

I am following all the 2016 threads to get an idea, and May is right now every active with exchanges (and people getting approved), but June, July, etc. are sadly very much silent...! We better sit tight and just go with the flow, at least for now. I honestly just hope it comes before the 1-year mark, but if it doesn't, I'm ready to file for N-400 as soon as I'm eligible.

F-1 Visa: Academic years 2007/2010.

K-1 Visa: I-129F sent Aug 2013; Approved Jan 2014.

Green Card: AOS sent Feb 2014; Approved Jan 2015.

Removal of Conditions: I-751 sent Nov 2016; Approved Apr 2018.

US Citizenship: Application sent Nov 2017; Fingerprints Nov 2017; Civics/English exam March 2018; Oath May 2018.

When are you eligible to file for N-400?

November 2nd.

I keep reading the May thread. It's getting better, but they have definitely slowed down.

I honestly don't care how long it takes (provided it is a reasonable time, say within 12 months from submission), however, I have planned international travel around ROC, trying to make sure I was in the country around approval/RFE time (it was around June/July when I filed), and now it looks like it may come while I'm away, in September/October... Oh well...!

That's a couple days after I am eligible as well. It's definitely a little awkward making  travel plans around stuff like this. When I seem to be expecting my new green card to arrive and also when I can file for citizenship, happens to be around the same time as the cheapest flights to New Zealand. I guess I will have to see how it goes..

I decided not to lose any sleep over traveling PRE N400 submission. Plans are set, and I'll stick to them (I do however have neighbors who can check on our mailbox). As for the POST N400 submission time-frame,  I think I'll just sit tight and stay home in Florida until after I gain US citizenship/get a US passport.

Correct. I did my biometrics back in December. It was an interview letter telling me everything they wanted me to bring. My husband and I have been discussing why we might have an interview, and now I'm feeling a little more rational and not in a blind panic attack, I think it was because of lack of evidence. His mum hasn't been in a good way for several years, and I'm the only one who works. He doesn't and it's been a source of tension in the past.

We sent two joint car purchases, a car loan in both our names, car insurance in both our names, gym membership in both our names and showing when we checked in together, life insurance, joint health insurance, joint bank account, credit card where I'm an authorized user, photos, affidavits, honeymoon flight tickets, a temporary lease from 2014 (after AOS was sent off so new evidence) when our house was damaged and we had temporary lodgings.

That said, we could not send joint utilities, or a joint lease. If authorised user doesn't count, we couldn't send a joint CC. We sent several letters clipped to the evidence explaining the whys so the adjudicator could see it. I'm guessing they didn't bother with an RFE because we had already said in the submission that we didn't have certain things and why, all throughout the packet. So they didn't bother asking for what they knew we don't have, and sent it straight to interview so we can discuss it in person. Still, not KNOWING gives me huge friggin' anxiety.
