Guess my Case Inquiry removed some sand from the cogs. Today I received an appointment letter to show up at my field office next month.

Stating I should bring: This letter; your passport; your Resident Alien card; Employment Authorization Card (If any); Submit originals and copies of new and previously requested documents; documentation indicating that the marriage upon which you were granted conditional status was entered into in "good faith", lease, rent or mortgage agreements; bank statements; income tax returns for the last two years, and family photo.

So I guess this is the interview that they had to plan since May 1st ;).

It doesn't state that we have to appear both.

At least things seems to get moving again.

John

Hi john. It's very strange. The letter should tell you bring with you, first thing is your spouse, whats the point of an interview if you don't have your spouse, i had an interview and that's what the letter says. But i read one of your posts a couple of months ago that mentioned that your a waiver now, maybe am mistaken. But if that's the case then thats why they aren't asking you to bring your spouse. Anyway its very simple and dont be nervous you will be in and out in half hour. Good luck

Hey Guys, It has been 100 days since my case is approved. I haven't received my card.I have called several times and 2 service requests with no result. I don't know what I need to do to get my Card. The Service Request is not doing anything. And no one seems to know what's going on. The online status of the case is showing that it has been assigned to the officer but nothing after that. The first case was completed by the officer but still didn't send the card. Please let me know if anyone knows what I need to do.

Yay John! finally your case is moving! hopefully mine will start moving soon too, I still have another month of waiting before I can do a Case Inquiry (I can do this 60 days after their last notice was sent, correct?)

What is the date of your interview? is it 2 weeks after receiving the letter or a month?

Thank you!

Happy to report mine adjustment sss approved. They sent me an RFE and I replied back telling them how we were separated but not yet divorced since original filing to remove conditions and gave over more bonafides and a ton of affidavits testifying to how I was mistreated and cheated on and they approved me without any other interview within a week of receiving my RFE answer back to them.

@Rob87 Why did they send you an RFE ?  When did they send you the RFE ?Did you tell them that you were in the process of seperating ? Also, Did you file for divorce ? or is it just physical seperation at the moment ?

Congrats on your approval again !

At the time I submitted we had just got back together. Because his sister was super ill and almost passed it brought us back. When she recovered we Realised yea no we still hate another when together too long. When I submitted I didn’t put a lease and the bank documents I thought they only wanted the cover letter that showed both our names. I didn’t realise they wanted statements. My lawyer said that’s a common mistake because they don’t make it very clear but they want actual statements showing that the bank account was in fact active. Cuz anyone can open a joint bank account then never use it. So I submitted a stack of all that. Also we did a living will/healthcare directive giving each other power to enforce our wishes in the event either of us weren’t to be on life support.

But yea we didn’t have the bank account or a lease together cuz we rented from his sister and we never filed taxes together because he had leans on him for unpaid student loans for 3 years so we filed married but separate so that’s why they wanted the RFE. I sent the RFE in after I got a letter form His sister which took the place of a lease, the printed it statements the living will. Updated health insurance and tons more pics. I also and he also wrote long letters stating we aren’t divorced but have been off and on separated since late 2016 so other things are harder to supply because of that and we are planning to divorce. I got about 10 affidavits stating how they saw the relationship play out  and it’s bad times and how I’d stay with them at times cuz he was acting so bad. They approved it within a week. I sent the RFE back July 7th I was approved 7 days later

Wow you got extremely fortunate in your RFE dealings. My RFE status has not changed in two weeks. I sent my rfe docs on July 7th they updated my case July 9th acknowledging receipt but nothing since. As you can imagine my anxiety is high!

My adjudicator must be on vacation. Or maybe my docs are at the bottom of the stack again.

Congratulations. I hope you find new healthy love in the future.

Hello everyone.

Just an update I had my interview yesterday for my ROC and naturalization. I passed the interview yesterday and attended the oath ceremony today. Didn’t receive my green card or any approval in the email yet. But I got the the naturalization certificate today. I hope everyone will get their approval soon. 😊

It seems everyone's case is being adjudicated except your and mine. Lol. Sorry it is a joke but it appears as I mentioned.
