My case is similar to yours. I never heard from them. They didn't even issue me a new driver license because of the pending security checks

As today it is the 61st day since the last status change of my case I started an case status inquiry.

Answer to be expected by July 23rd 2018.... sigh...

 

Well I guess if they can answer this in about 3 weeks, they also could have scheduled an interview in 60 days. Even an interview somewhere next year

Today I received an email from USCIS following my inquiry (60 days had passed since transfer to NBC).

Answer doesn't say much other than to be patient for at least another 120 days.

Thank you for contacting USCIS concerning the above-referenced application. Below is a summary of what we have found and how the issue has been resolved or additional actions required.

What We Have Done
USCIS has reviewed your Service Request.  According to USCIS records, your application is still pending at the your Field Office.  At this time, we anticipate you should receive a decision or other notice from USCIS within 120 days of this notice.  Please be advised that posted processing times are goals based on Field Office averages.  These goals are subject to change and can vary from office to office.  We apologize for any inconvenience caused by delays in processing. 

 

So, as I have seen people that filed later than me and already got approved, should I consider to be unlucky to live in an area where there is a high influx of illegal aliens that absorb the manpower of my field office?

 

Continue to be patient.... paper GC still valid for 5 more months

So what happens if my stamp expires before I get approved for ROC? This is a mess. My stamp expires in November. I haven’t even reached 60 days yet to inquire and I’m sure the Dallas office is way more overloaded than yours. This is awful.

What I understood from the officer at my field office you have to stop by again and they will extend it again.

I received my paper GC in December with a validity for 1 year.

Only news I have received is the answer to my case inquiry. That said that I should receive a decission in the next 120 days. And that my case was still pending at my local office, while it was transferred to the NBC.

Guess they have no manpower to hold an interview.

 

Meanwhile 630 days since filing and 75 days since transfer to NBC.

hello everyone I'm a november 2016 filer, I've been following October 2016 filer for months now I'm so excited to announce that after over 20 months of waiting i got a message this morning that they are producing my card!!!!!!!

Here's my timeline

filed November 15th 2016 at CSC

2/25/2018. got the transfer to local office glitch

may31st 2018 received RFE

June 26th uscis received RFE response

July18th card production!!!!!

Guess my Case Inquiry removed some sand from the cogs. Today I received an appointment letter to show up at my field office next month.

Stating I should bring: This letter; your passport; your Resident Alien card; Employment Authorization Card (If any); Submit originals and copies of new and previously requested documents; documentation indicating that the marriage upon which you were granted conditional status was entered into in "good faith", lease, rent or mortgage agreements; bank statements; income tax returns for the last two years, and family photo.

 

So I guess this is the interview that they had to plan since May 1st .

It doesn't state that we have to appear both.

 

At least things seems to get moving again.

Our filing was jointly, for the initial conditional green card we both went to the interview.

10-24-2016 I-751 received at CSC

02-26-2018 Case was received by local office (glitch?? - or did they start working on the case again??)

03-29-2018 RFE send

04-09-2018 RFE received

05-01-2018 Transfer to another Office (NBC) that now has Jurisdiction

07-02-2018 Case Inquiry started
07-12-2018 Answer Case Inquiry via Email, case still pending at local office should receive a decision within 120 days

07-20-2018 Appointment to appear at local office with proof (letter dated 07-18-2018)

Status in tracker app is not changed
