Hello All,

The USCIS just got an update on the process times, and it shows that as of November 30, 2017 they were processing September 7, 2016 applications.

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do

Any September 2016 applicant with good news?

Yes, it looks like ROC Sep 2016 filers at CSC are 27% approved. So they are still working on Sep 2016. So hopefully by March they will be working on Oct 2016 filers and by April on Nov 2016 filers. I applied on the last day of Nov 2016 so I am hoping to hear something around late April or May.

Hey guys,

my I-751 case got approved 2 days ago and was wondering..Do you guys know how long it takes for the Card to be mailed??

case status now: " New Card is being Produced"

and when should I apply for N400?

Thanks

Congratulations,  What is your timeline? are you an October CSC filer? It takes a week to two weeks in most cases to receive your GC. You can file for citizenship now assuming you fulfill rest of the requirements and married to U.S citizen.

Looking at your previous post, I see "Filed on Sept 12th 2016 NOA Oct 10th 2016 (Case was received) NOA Feb 12th 2018 (New Card is being Produced)". So you will be October Filers according to your NOA1. Are you sure CSC took almost a month to acknowledge your I-751 package after you sent them on Sept 12th? Before you saw your 'New Card is Being Produced' Status did it say like 'We received your I-751 on October 10, 2016...' on your Case Status page?  I just want to make sure you are not confusing  NOA1 dates with bio-metric letter notice or the date you got your NOA1? Otherwise you will be the first October 16 filer approved from CSC in this forum.

My case was received on Sept 12th 2016 and since then there wasn't any update till Feb 12th 2018 where I got a push notification on the USCIS App that said "New Card is being produced" but I remember doing my biometrics on October 2016.. Anywho, I'm glad it's done!

yea, now moving to the final phase: the N400

Ohh I see.. before Feb 12th 2018, the case status was: "On September 12, 2016, we received your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received... etc..."

So that makes me Sept 2016 filer then, right? I'm so confused.. I honestly don't exactly remember when I filed and when I did the biometrics..

Well, thanks for the clarification!

Cheers

Hi,

I'm new to this forum, I-751 October 2016 here. Not sure if it's true, but according to what I saw so far in other forums, I may not get the green card since I filed for N-400 in November 2017. Is it a general rule?

Thanks,

Wait a minute! What is the deal here? If I am waiting for my green card and I file an N400 then I wont get a green card????? In that case I better wait till my family gets the green card. My step daughter who turned 18 cannot find a job since it has been more than 18 months that her green card expired and no one believes that her process is delayed.

I believe that is the case Forteleo87. Usually when you apply to n-400 and your local field office receives your Application, they will realize that you have an -751 pending. Which they should then request your I-751 file from your service center (Cali or Verm) to them. So when you have your interview for your naturalization at your local field office, usually i-751 and n-400 will be adjudicated together.. Thats why you never receive your green card and or never hear back from your service center (Verm or Cali), because your i-751 is now in the hands of your local office with your n-400 application

I know some even never talked about the I-751 during their N-400 interview. It all depends on the USCIS officer..

-----

Also, few people are scared to apply to naturalization while i-751 is pending because they "heard" some n-400 application are being denied because of the i-751 pending.. Legally N-400 cannot be declined just because there is an  I-751 pending.

06/27/2018 The case was approved, with the N-400 approval.

06/21/2018 Interview's date.

I am having a different experience here. In my case, the i-751 is not moved to Dallas field office where I have N-400 pending since last 6 months. Yesterday I had it confirmed from Tier 2 officer who sent the message to CSC to approve my petition without any delay if there are no issues with the application.  So I would definitely recommend @Forteleo87 to call USCIS to find out where exactly i-751 file is?

Removal of Conditions
09/06/2016 Sent I-751 package to CSC

09/09/2016 USCIS received package
09/13/2016 Check cleared
09/15/2016 NOA1 hard copy. Date 09/09/2016

04/11/2018 Combo interview with N-400

05/10/2018 I-751 approved!
