Hi all,

Our case was completed on September 15, and we haven't received interview date yet. The last time I called NVC was yesterday and was told they are waiting for the embassy to send them the schedules. Before you recommend I check the spreadsheet, I have and it doesn't seem like there's a lot of members in Abu Dhabi to update. The informations are all over the place so I need a little help. Does anyone know what Abu Dhabi Interview schedules are like?

No none to update. Seems Abu Dhabi just stalled after May. All the ones from June I keep in contact with and they are still waiting.

The information is current and not all over the place. This happens especially during summer staffing, slows things down.

usually picks up after start if the new year.

Wow! Sounds terrifying. So people have waited months for interview date? What a horror!

Abu Dhabi just started slowing down in May. I think its due to the refugee crisis and they are moving cases around to adjudicate them.

Egypt is probably still the longest wait now. Things change all the time. It use to be Cambodia when I started doing the stats and spreadsheet in 2012 they were 6 to 8 months wait until about 2014 they got way better. It's all about staffing and workflow.

Also Algeria isn't too fast either. Jamaica before summer was 4 to 5 months now they are maybe 2 months. Ghana is 3 to 4 months. So it just depends. Patience is all I can say. Sorry. :goofy:

Thanks for the stats dwheels, yes I understand its only March 2016 onwards that things slowed in Abu Dhabi. but you know March is no where near summer - that still seems to be happening and then there will be Christmas - one long summer staffing delay...

We can only hope.

We are scared of booking flight ticket to meet each other because we don't know when the interview will fall on. I guess I'll just go see my wife anyway. This long wait has been the most painful. For the amount of money we've spent in this process, sometimes I wonder if it's even worth the pains. People sneak into the country daily without going through this process. We are doing it the right way but it doesn't seem like NVC really cares.
