It is not clear to me whether the vaccinations are done as part of the medical exam that is done by the Embassy Doctor.

Or are we supposed to get them done before the medical exam?

You will get the shots you need during the exam. If you have already received all or some of the shots, bring a statement from you doctor showing what shot and when you received it

Only if you need them, but if you do, prepare to pay a premium price for them on the spot. I had to pay $35 for Tdap at my Medical which would have otherwise been around $10 at my local clinic, but otherwise the rest of all my shots were good.

You are asking a lot of questions that are specific to your own consulate. Procedures and requirements vary across different countries. So, I am going to move this post to your regional forum. You should read through that forum and ask questions that are specific to interviewing in Russia there. Others with experience at that consulate will help you out.

A K-1 does not need to be current on all vaccines, BUT it is much easier and cheaper to get them before/during the medical AND, AND be sure she asks for and gets a copy of the DS-3025. I made sure my (then) fiance did this and it made AOS much easier as we did not need a visit with a civil surgeon in the US for more paper work (I-693) at additional expense. Just submitted the DS-3025 that showed all vaccinations were complete and up to date.
