I'm getting anxious too. Our scan date is September 1 and I was hoping for case complete this week but if you are August 29 and still waiting I guess I'll have to be more patient. Good luck to you! I'll be watching for an update from you.

I guess NVC is way too busy with applications. I pray for your quick cc as well..

I called them last night and had the most disinterested employee in the world on the phone. Previously everyone I've spoken to there has been very upbeat. I was told "high volume, six weeks". I know that's only another 1.5 weeks to wait but it's still frustrating.

That's disappointing news :(. Keeping my fingers crossed for you, and everyone else in this frustrating process! I feel like I'm in limbo at the moment. Can't plan anything.

That's exactly how I feel - neither here nor there. Will I be there before Yule? When will I be leaving work? Once we get case complete other things will start to fall into place. I'm worried that if it goes on much longer they will have finished allocating the November slots. And then it will be a December interview and I really didn't want to be flying there in December.

Yeah, I know what you mean. It's a difficult thing to explain to work as well. I've been trying to keep them in the loop throughout the whole process. As I am 3 weeks behind you, I have come to terms with a December interview, more than likely. In fact, I'd be overjoyed if it was as I really want to be there by New Year. Missing Christmas, our first wedding anniversary and New Year would really suck. I have this horrible feeling that it's going to end up being in January. But, I keep hoping! Just kinda going through each day until I hear something!

I missed our second wedding anniversary and his birthday last week. But I was hoping to miss our second wedding anniversary so that we don't have to do ROC later down the line. I've kept work in the loop but they, like most people, think the whole thing takes a few weeks so I keep getting asked "do you have a date yet?" and I sometimes think they think I'm stalling the process!

Okay you know you guys are my family so I keep you up-to-date on everything that is going on so I went into USCIS on the appointment this morning and was advised by them that the physical file goes to the National Record Center and the i-130 petition goes to the visa center the visa center just gets the i-130 petition they intern will request the Civil documents and any fees so then

I call the national visa center at spoke with a nice young lady and she confirmed that they do not get the physical file everything that was submitted to USCIS which makes sense cuz I wanted to know why is it that if I have submitted my birth certificate and my husband's birth certificate to USCIS why would they be asking for it again but I guess it's because they don't see if they just get the petition needless to say I will be calling them everyday to see if the i-130 petition was received in their office

Just a short note, yesterday (about 4:30 PM) I checked my CEAC page, which showed only 2 N/As.

Checked again at 12:30 AM, and there it was, the last (3rd) N/A.

Called NVC, they verified it.

Scan date at NVC was August 30, 2016...5 weeks ago to the day.
