Should be tonight. Ours was unlocked the end of the following business day.

I dared to call NVC just now to ask about interview dates.

Told to call back at the end of the week. That's what I was sort of expecting but we always live in hope that things will move quicker than they say they will.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

To everyone wanting email processing there's a catch!

We qualify so we scanned everything ready, but with all the required attachments the file comes in at 8mb.

The email processing the file has to be less than 5mb - so if you have access to a scanner that keeps original sizes without exceeding 5mb you can use it!

Unless someone has a trick up their sleeve?

I know this has been answered before, but I can't quite remember their solution...

My suggestion, though: Do you have Adobe Acrobat? Because that program has an option to create a Reduced Size PDF which would help!

Yeah I suggested that and he pointed out it says 1 packet, together etc so obviously he doesn't want to risk one email going awol ?

There is a free program you can download... cute pdf..after you scan your documents choose "print" with it..and it converts the docs to pdf. Hope that helps.

Thank you! I have that program ? Just didn't think to use it!

The way I understand it, it's 5 mb per attachment. Anyway, PDF attachments can be compressed. My biggest pdf attachments I have at this point are two 1.6 mb files.

we took the wording "keep attachments under 5mb" to be the whole email. Anyway my husband refuses to attach separately in case one gets missed by them and we get a checklist ?
