Thank you for this encouraging words. Even though it was meant for JFH, it has cheered me up too.

First scan date was July 13th.

Second scan date/supervisor review was September 2nd. We havent gotten any checklists or any feedback. Just the same old song" we are still reviewing your case".

Your next Geemummy! Blessings ??

You need to fill out two separate i-864 forms since they are two separate cases. It's a hassle, but that's how it is unfortunately; so I suggest sending that out as soon as you can. And yes, your wife's case will continue towards a CC. If your wife receives a CC and interview date before your stepson does, you can ask to expedite your stepson's case so that they can interview together.

Thanks very much for your reply. I will send another i-864 ASAP... maybe even later today. The NVC agent told me that I need to send it along with the document cover sheet. Do I need to send only the AOS package (i-864 + financial documents), and expect that they will match it up with the documents I already sent? Or do I need to resubmit everything at once, including the IV package as well?

Thanks!!

I didn't get any communication from NVC until after the case number had been assigned. Then I got the same email 5 times! LOL!

I paid all the fees and mailed out the paper work Oct. 7th. My certified mail tracking says the paper work arrived Oct. 11th and we completed the DS260 Oct. 12th. Is there any way to track when NVC received everything other than USPS tracking? Is there any way to find out when they start processing the paper work? It looks like from what people are saying on these forums we have a long wait ahead of us. I was hoping to have the interview sometime before February but that is looking unlikely now. It is unfortunate because it only took us 31 days to get through USCIS then I was unable to pay the NVC fees for a couple months. If I would have been on top of it maybe I could have avoided the backlog.

You can call them and check what date they scanned the documents into the system. That's when your review clock will start. They won't contact you to say they have received them.
