Gave NVC a call this morning (well, afternoon for me), would you believe, they already had a queue at 10 past 7 in the morning! Didn't take long to get through, though. He asked if I'd filed my DS-260 online and I said yes. He then put me on hold for a couple of minutes and just said "Well, we received your documents September 19th and it can take up to 6 weeks." I asked what the likelihood of getting a response before 6 weeks was, and if we'd probably get put through to supervisor review, to which he just replied "It can take up to 6 weeks" again...sooo....who knows. We shall see...

we are in the same boat, my six weeks are up nov 2nd and i was really hoping for an interview before the holidays. but we must say hopeful!!! i hope you get your cc soon. *fingers crossed :)

My scan date is August 31, so we should have same time frame, and I hope it is ver soon for everyone...

But I am curious if the time I have sent the documents after submitted the AOS payment matters, since it took us a while to collect documents since we were travelling...that worries me

Hey all... So i paid my aos fee yesterday..today its already showing paid... Do i have to call them for anything or so i wait for an invoice to pay the next fee?

Give NVC a call to have your DS-261 reviewed over the phone. By doing so it unlocks the IV. Eventually NVC would have it reviewed and unlock the IV so you could pay it, but that would have taken them a very long time to "get to it" so you be the proactive one and do the calling.

Can you send me the complete Web adress where I can check my case in NVC please ?

Ceac.state.gov

How long after submitting your documents to nvc does it normally take to get your interview date....???

Jamaica interviews are on average 90 days from case complete.

Sorry I just look at your timeline and I am not sure if your category of FB-1 is correct. If it is then you have a very long wait before you get an interview.

Thank you, that's very kind of you. Sadly no news. Just woken my husband up with a phone call to tell him I can't stand the waiting anymore. First 164 days at Nebraska and now this. Don't they know they are dealing with the most impatient woman on the planet?

LOL. Well, other than helping other people with their questions, I hope that by your next update it will already be your most awaited CC. :)
