I see that NVC works until Midnight EST but is that a call center or are agents truly processing cases ?

I hope that NVC moves quickly whats the fastest you have seen a case complete? Was hoping hubby would be her before Xmas

What's the normal timeline for NVC to receive and approved I-130? My approval notice was on August 5th but it's past the 6-8 week time frame for NVC to receive it.

Each case really varies but they would usually say 6weeks. My approval notice was July 6 received at NVC on the 18th. Another vj member took 6weeks to be at NVC. Did ur statusat uSCIS changed to sent to NVC?

Though they say USCIS doesnt do updates regularly it seems to me lately they have been doing pretty well. Mine change to sent to Department of State the following day. No one knows really how or when they would decide to send it off. Guess for now try to call NVC if they have it

Ours was approved 4 August status hasn't changed and still not received by nvc - I think they've lost it but onto our 9th week and remaining hopeful

Hello All! New month and fingers crossed for us all. Here's to hoping Halloween is my lucky day as that will be our 6 week mark...of course, NVC approving us earlier is more than welcome! Would just be so gutted if I wasn't able to be with my husband for, at least, New Year . Christmas would be lovely, if possible. Anyway, positive thinking!

Still waiting IV fee to be unlocked, do i have to wait untill its unlocked then then move to next step or what ? And what is next step after i pay IV fee ?

You can start gathering civil docs and have your affidavit of support ready for submission. Pls do read pinned topics posted about NVC process since most of your query is actually covered by the wiki page. You would need the barcoded cover sheet for submission as well which is available once payment made for both aos and IV

so the next step is submitting AOS and IV package ? What avout completing ds-260 visa application ? When i should do it ? Thank you ervie and rob.

DS260 wont be unlocked until all fees are paid. So while waiting gathering docs is the best next thing you can do. So by the time you are done with payment and DS260 u are ready to submit docs too.
