I just hang up with NVC ...and our update today is that our case has been send to Administrative Processing on Wednesday. I asked was does it means and he told me that he don't have that information.

1st scan July 15. This is unbelievable! I just want to cry. 7th week since 2nd scan.

I think you should be having CC next week. By going over the trend at visa journey.. everybody's is getting CC done on there 8th week.. stay strong..u r almost done.. i have same scan date as yours.. praying!

Also! Dont trust what agent says.. always cross check with another agent.. once one of the agent told me that they are missing my AOS documents.. my heart stopped. But i called again to verify with another agent and found out everything is fine..

Hi everyone,

I hope someone will know. The question is , At what stage one should send documents to prove the petitioner USA DOMICILE? Do we send it with the AOS package? or Do we keep it to the Embassy interview stage??

Note: This is my understanding to USA Domicile: You intend in good faith to re-establish your domicile in the United States no later than the date of the intending immigrant's admission or adjustment of status.

I hope so. I read online people might get the AP randomly or by calling to change address. I moved during the summer so I called to change it....also I sent a 1040x..because made changes in the tax forms....hope it's just that...no something bad!

You are in supervisor review too right? They did ir automatically with us too...didn't ask if we prefer it or not.

Okay I have a few questions.

As the petitioner do I need to submit my birth certificate or is it just the birth certificate of the beneficiary .

Or am I just submitting the financial documentation for myself ?

You do not need to send your birth certificate to NVC, unless you are using it as proof of your U.S. status; your financial documents are all that NVC needs from the petitioner :)

Yes I'm filing from outside the USA. If the NVC is the one who decide the domicile status then I will need to send the documentation with the AOS package. However, if the embassy during the interview stage will be the one who decide then its better keeping the documentation to that stage and present it upon request!!!!!

As far as I know, is Domicile a section at the Affidavit of Support. You must be domiciled in the USA to be a sponsor, however, you can reside temporarily outside the USA. Means, you need to keep concrete ties to the USA. Others may know more.

Thank you. I believe "my own understanding" is that its something that will come up during interview, thus, documents should be ready then to prove it.So, Just my own thoughts.
