Hi Harry13. I have got the AOS bill and have paid it and done choice of agent and called agent to review. The IV bill has not showed up yet. I see in your timeline that you went ahead and sent the AOS and IV package even before you paid the IV bill is that accurate ? I have all my docs ready so if that's the case I can mail it today while I wait for IV to unlock ?

You can send the documents before you pay the IV bill. As soon as you have the cover sheet with the list of documents you can send. It helps things move faster.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Yes, you can and go ahead and send documents now. If you wait till IV fees it will be another week or so. I paid AOS fees and send all my documents same day. This way it will save time. Just make sure you double check all required documents.

Good Luck!!

Yes.. Jun, and my case was on USCIS for 6 months and a half. I haven't received the interview date yet. Mexico is a busy consulate. I just try to be positive everyday. I was hoping to spend our baby first anniversary with his uncles and aunts at USA on November 14. But now, I think is not gonna be possible. Anyway.. everything happens for a reason and I'm happy and grateful to be on this stage of the process. Blessings and I hope to hear about your CC soon.

Our process has been long too..I understand. Yeah...I thought he will be here before Thanksgiving..but not sure about that anymore.

Thank you!! I hope you get your case completed soon too!

I thought I already posted, but I guess not! Our I-130 was approved at NSC on September 30th and as of now, the USCIS site still reads "Case Approved."

Does anyone know how the NVC process works if you are using a lawyer? Since they will be automatically selected for Choice of Agent, I have no idea if I still need to be calling NVC for my case number or not to get the ball rolling since I know both fees will become unlocked at the same time anyway. Any ideas?

Good luck to everyone!!
