I am so tired of this!! Last night they gave me the other script... "If your case is not completed by next Tuesday you can request a supervisor review"... but for what??!! to wait 6 more weeks?! this is ridiculous...

1st scan July 15!! 2nd scan Aug 26.. (attorney fault...did not told us they needed 3 different police certificates...my fault for not asking i guess?!)

Just venting here...I know you guys understand!

My question is does it change the status on the USCIS website for everyone that it was sent to the Department of State because I thought that some people didn't update it however NVC got it?

What is the soonest that anyone has seen NVC received your i-130 do we truly have to wait that 6 weeks

Very frustrating, isn't it? It seems that some cases update to "sent to NVC" within a week or so while others are not updated for several weeks. Our case was finally updated to "sent" 25 days after approval. Then, there are even other cases which are NEVER updated......Man!

I'm hoping my attorney forwards my "welcome" email soon.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

I'm pretty sure you're gonna get it soon. On my case my first scan date was 07 jun, We received a checklist on 10 August after 10 weeks. On 16 august was our second scan date and on 26 September we got our CC. Finally after 16 weeks! So, I understand how you feel, how frustrating is this and I don't know what to tell you because when someone said be patient I just want to take them from the neck. LOL ? ? someone else wrote "the time of God is perfect" and I try to remember it when I feel bad or sad.

It is not a correct statement that you need to send the petitioner's birth certificate. The IV package is about the beneficiary, not the petitioner. The US Citizenship has been established when USCIS approved the I-130. The birth certificate is required for the beneficiary.

Yes i thought so too and didnt send my birth certificate, neither marriage certificate nor u.s citizen proof paper. I just send the beneficiary marriage certificate where there is my name too of course. I am confused. I migyt have to just wait for the checklist now.

Yes.. Jun, and my case was on USCIS for 6 months and a half. I haven't received the interview date yet. Mexico is a busy consulate. I just try to be positive everyday. I was hoping to spend our baby first anniversary with his uncles and aunts at USA on November 14. But now, I think is not gonna be possible. Anyway.. everything happens for a reason and I'm happy and grateful to be on this stage of the process. Blessings and I hope to hear about your CC soon.

i am really upset because you would think maybe the NVC would work a little harder so that many of us can have interviews in time to spend time with our loved ones for the holidays. Sometimes i feel like its all about luck when it comes to receiving your CC. i was really hoping to spend the holidays with my husband in NY for the holidays and i feel hopeless just waiting for someone to decide my fate of my relationship sort of speak.
