FINALLY!!! Now for NVC phase. We should call it a soap opera and name it "As the Stomach turns".

Case Was Sent To The Department of State

On October 11, 2016, we sent your case, Receipt Number SRCXXXXXXX, to the Department of State for visa processing.

No email or text yet, if ever. I had to check the website.

Wow 32 days! Congrats!

I think it depends. With ours, status just changed this afternoon to "Ready" then few minutes later we received an email on my appointment. They scheduled it 2 weeks from now.

Thank you!

I would want to vomit if I had to make that decision. Maybe a few more days may help?

Supervisor review seems like a hit or miss. I have seen several ppl get a cc after 2 wks being on SR. Then there are others who had to wait the full 6 wks or more. Even worse some had to be put on a second SR. Some ppl think that it depends on whether your case had a checklist, that causes a major delay; as opposed to someone whose case was not touched at all and was simply forgotten after the 6wk time period. I would suggest waiting a few more days to see. I was automatically put on SR after 37 business days past and still no cc (2nd scan date was 8/16). My clock has started over for the third time... hoping for a miracle. Hoping everyone gets their CC very soon!!

i agree, I'm really upset as well. you would think that would work a little faster taking into consideration the holidays coming up and see that there are people waiting for more than 6 weeks. i don't understand because during the august and september month, i saw so many people receiving CC but now i see like 2 a day if not none.

Unfortunately my husband sent me an article where NVC personnel are being utilised to fast track naturalisation of USA residents so they can vote in November 8 elections :( so the rest of us nowhere near residing have been placed further back hence the 6 weeks slowly turning into 8 for some! Meanwhile after waiting 69 days just for our petition to get there, I'm planning my last Christmas in Australia instead of my first in USA - onwards and upwards

May 5 - I-130 Received

June 17 - RFE Received

August 4 - NOA2
October 3 - USICIS sent to NVC
October 12 - NVC received (69 days in limbo)
? - case number assigned
? - AOS bill paid
? - call NVC to review DS-261 and get IV invoice unlocked
? - IV bill paid
? - submit DS-260
? - send IV/AOS package
? - scan date

? - cc

? - interview date

Okay, so I called NVC today and they told me my petition was received on Oct. 6th and gave me "wait 2 weeks for a case number" line. Happy that it finally reached NVC but cautiously optimistic that I will get it in the timeframe they quoted me.
