Hi I have paid my IV fee bill today, but I sent the document package it was received at NVC today. I am yet to fill the DS260 though.

I just got a second checklists from the nvc. My first checklist was August 3 and it was for my police certificate only . Know I am getting another one For the birth certificate. I sent the correct one on July. And know they want the new one, the folio... God please give me patience... ??? I don't like nvc at all..... Good luck everyone. I hope some of you don't get the same checklist like me

I just saw that you have the same scan date as me, 8/16. I called last night to check the status, and the agent automatically forwarded my case to his supervisor for review. Told me it may not take the full 6wks, since my file was pulled for "document review" earlier this week on Tuesday. This gives me some hope! I was check listed for a police cert I can't obtain from the US. and 8/16 is my second scan date. Been in the NVC stage since 7/6, they reviewed my case within 5 wks the first time. With the checklist its taking ages to CC.

I can understand you got second checklist.. but please dont be disheartened. Its not going to take long to get you case complete. Your checklist is very simple and its fixable.. so just few more days and you are on your way.. good luck!!

Hi, I am a little confused. I got the AOS cover printed and also the cover sheet in the NVC welcome letter. Is there separate cover sheet for the IV fee? My IV fee hasn’t unlocked yet. Can i send both the AOS and IV packet now or should I wait and see if there is a separate cover sheet for the IV fee

You can send the AOS and IV documents now. You won't get a separate cover sheet. You will get the same cover sheet with everything on it twice.

Do they still process the K3 visa ..

I filed a I129f after my I130 I recieved the approval on friday .. So I wonder which would be quicker for getting Hubby here .

Depends which one NVC receives first. If they receive the I-129F first, you can do a K-3. If they receive the I-130 first or both together the K-3 route will be closed to you.

We submitted 130 2 May, submitted 129f 19 May - they approved the 130 4 August and terminated 129f 5 August. I believe our approval happened faster because of the 129f however they only just sent the files 3 October to nvc. Not sure if that helps you decide what you want to do but just to tell you how they handled ours. We are still waiting for nvc to receive.

That's correct. It's a faster way onto US soil, but not a faster way to permanent residency.
