Ok so i called NVC to ask how long after case complete before we get an interview date. The guy says usually takes 60 days to get a date then 4 weeks to interview . That doesnt sound right at all. Any insight to this?

It's right. It takes between a week if you're super lucky to like 5 months to get your interview date of you're super unlucky. Then you have 4 to 6 weeks until the actual big day!

USCIS

Jan 15th noa 1

April 4th noa2

NVC

Received case April 22

June 20th CASE COMPLETE?

Interview date: waited 160 days, January 3 ... APPROVED! VISA COLLECTED JANUARY 5

Looking at your Country's timeline of prior persons that have interviewed its usually 2 months after case comple to interview. So you're looking at the end of November early December to be interviewed.

Well this entire process is about patience. Atleast you don't have to wait 3 mths like I did and some Countries have to wait 5 or 6 mths. :sleepy:

Hi,

I am a bit distraught because my husband had his interview today and was given 221 (g)form. Nothing was checked off to say that he is missing a document or two which he can simply bring. He was told that the case will be sent to USCIS. I don't know what to do at this point. I have called USCIS and they can't provide me with any answers since they haven't received the case. I just emailed the embassy but it's been nearly impossible to get a response fron them in the past so I'm not so sure if they will this time.

If anyone had went through this before what did you do and what was their reason for denial? I don't really know what to do. I am just scared if they send the case to USCIS this is going to be another long wait that I can't bear to handle any longer. Everyone's experience regarding this particular situation and suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I don't want to sound ungrateful , i am thrilled we have made it this far in as short a time as we have . We have had very few setbacks , just like everyone else so tired of the waiting with nothing to do to help things along :)

I am so sorry to hear about that 221(g) There should have been a reason given as to why they are sending the case back to USCIS.
