Hi everyone! Congrats to all of the recent CC's! :)

One step closer to the end of this visa journey, now its time to wait for the interview date :clock: I just got my cc recently on 10/17 (confirmed over the phone). I called nvc yesterday to ask when they will start scheduling the interview appointments. And received the answer of "nvc schedules at the end of every month" and depending on how busy the embassy in your country is, that I'll get an appointment sooner or later.

I had a question, I've been following this thread for the last few days, and read that NVC will start scheduling interviews for December at the end of this month? So there is no chance of getting a November (or even at the end of Nov) interview I'm guessing? Or does that depend on the country's embassy if they have available appointments left for Nov? Our embassy is for Seoul, South Korea. I've heard that its not busy and should get an appointment quickly. Just wondering, very anxious to get the interview date as most of you guys are also...

Hope NVC will start scheduling interview appointments soon and that everyone gets their appointment date!

Got approved today! It pays well to be a ready with our joint sponsor and was lucky enough that they have computers with internet and printer at the waiting area or else I'll be AP. They asked for my husband's 1040 for 2015 though we submitted the transcript.

Okay I know you feel down but lets make some lemonade out of these lemons. Good news is your case is at the embassy. No denial just a request for more evidence.

So focus on more. Highlight your visits. I would write up a relationship time line. No need to go through the (I didn't speak to him for a year). If asked he says I wanted to finish school before I immigrated. The truth that's it. Short and sweet,

Get some affidavits from family and friends who know you (no need to get them notarized) just a wrote up they have seen you two together and they know you two to be in love and real.

Have you added hm to any of your accounts if so include, Health insurance, car, bank accounts, lease, 401K.

Here's an example's I have passed along since 2011 for a Relationship Timeline and Affidavit of support.

Hi dwheels,

Thank you for the support and guidance. I came back today, after visiting the Embassy to drop off more evidence.

CEAC shows an update on 24-Oct-2016, same day we dropped off the papers, but everything else is the same. I wrote up a timeline, highlighting the period we dated before I left (more than 2 years), our wedding, and my visits during the past years, and gave them more documentation of our communication this past two years, and the years before our separation. He never mentioned our separation. When asked, he said exactly what you mentioned. He wanted to finish college before traveling. The officer clutched on to the fact that I didn't visit for almost two years.

They said they'd be in touch to let us know what else is needed. Now it's just a matter of waiting, and staying positive.

Thank you again.

I call every day... Today I got nothing again. I feel like you... It's sad and hard. When we didn't get a November interview I got depressed for 3 days. I'm hoping this week or next they start :(

Message me if you need to chat! I'm always up for talking!!!!

Hi! I get how you feel. I just had to wait two months, and it felt like ages. We just had the interview and got a 221g for more evidence of our relationship. I will be praying that you get a date for December, and get the best news in time to spend New Year's with your SO.

Congrats to all the approvals! If feels great to see so many people reach the end of their journey. :goofy:

I will be watching that AP for the next few days in hopes it changes to Issued. We were asked for more evidence of our relationship, which we provided...a lot more of it. :clock:

Congratulations on case complete. Welcome to the group. I have added you to the spreadsheet.

Maybe you will get December. No one can say how long because we don;t know how many are before you.

What I have seen in pass usually 1 to 3 months after case is complete is the norm for Cuba check out the spreadsheet.

Thank you! I hope we get an interview for December

Husband had interview today. He said it went well and they gave him a white slip bc they don't have his results from the medical as yet due to the additional medical testing taking an extra week. (the hospital didn't have any available earlier dates to get him in sooner once we found out about the change) I'm assuming the white slip is minor and praying he will still be here soon. They kept his passport.
