@JFH

How and where did you check? CEAC? Mine still shows "at NVC" though after calling yesterday they said they would put it on supervisor review and that he could "see something is already being done with the case".

I'd love to know how close I am from CC and where to check! :D

And CONGRATULATIONS! It is a huge step and a significant one forward for being reunited with your loved one. Yay!

On https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/ select 'DS-260 Online Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration Application' and enter your details as normal.

Have a look at the boxes and see if the AOS fee says N/A. If it does, very likely you have case complete.

Also I noticed mine has changed from CR-1 to IR-1 top right of the screen.

Yes it still says 'at NVC' and probably will do for some days. I think they send them to the embassy in batches.

Ok, makes sense. Did you call and double check on your completion?

Mine says N/A on AoS Fee, AoS documents/Financial Evid, as well as on Civil Documents. IV Fee is Paid and IV appl Completed. So don't really know what to think of that all.

Then you have case complete!

Yes and I just called and a very robotic-sounding lady (I was hoping for agent Wayne with the deep and sexy voice) confirmed it,

Interview today. Got a 221(g) for additional evidence of our relationship. I had started a case back in 2011, which was closed because he was not ready to leave the country at the time. We separated for more than a year for this reason, during which I did not visit or call. We got back in touch in 2014, and decided we still want to be together.

I have visited several times since then. Our relationship is as real as it can get! We have pictures, emails, phone calls, money I have sent, etc. from before our separation and since we got back together. We met when we were both children, for God's sake. Sorry for the ranting... I'm so out of it right now.

Hi i just logging omg thats terrible more evidences really this is so depressing i was hoping for the best,i'm so sorry to hear this ......So do you have to send the evidence to the Embassy ?

Thanks alot. It's been 5days as i arrived this Saturday. Hopefully i get that. Can you kindly say what kind of paper works i need to take if that doesn't arrive?

You'll need your passport with your visa foil and the inked stamp you got on your passport at POE. I suggest you go to www.ssa.gov and find the "application form" and have that already filled out.

When you talk to a clerk, they will be able to look into the system to see if you are already there. If not, they'll use the application you've filled out and get you into their system.

Good luck!
