All yo can do for now is add your IOE receipt number to your cases on uscis.gov. Once your card goes to production you will get text and email. If you sign up for it.

There's no other tracking before that at all.

Hey all!!! So the interview is finally next week!!! After waiting for what it seems soooo long :no::no::no::no:

Obviously, I reviewed the Interview letter and items that we need, etc. It said that the financial documents were sent to the embassy. However, I want to play it safe, just in case they're misplaced (who knows, maybe I'm overthinking it too much), but in that case, would you take a copy of the documents sent at that time, or a recently dated Affidavit, paystubs, etc.

This is probably an unnecessary question, but once I'm over there, that's it. I have to be ready. :clock:

Congrats to those who have gotten their dates! :D

And to those still waiting, hang on!!! You're closer than you were before. :dancing:

Hi, I was wondering the exact same thing lol so I got my husband to send me a couple of original signed AOS by mail from the States, it also appears on their website advising that we need to bring an original AOS as well as tax transcripts etc even though we have submitted them already. However, my interview letter states that it's already sent to the US consulate.

Would love some thoughts on who ever have attended interview if it was necessary. (I am guessing it would be in case it got lost in transit)

We gotta be ready indeed. :D

Hey guys, I need an advice about affidavit of support. My husband, a sponsor, claimed 25000 last year but the previous 2014 and 2013 years he didn't make enough to meet critiria, it's just us to in the household. He had his current job for a little less then 6 months nuts it's good paid. Is it really necessary for us to get a joint sponsor? The embassy is in Kiev.

I believe NVC asks for copies now, not the original ones. check your letter.

So there is no easy answer to this, the best you can find is under embassy reviews. Some CO's will ask and some will not, it all depends. For pakistan, there have been people reporting that they didn't ask for AOS but there were some who did ask. It also depends on whether they loose a document so it is best to take copies of AOS documents. I am for my hubby along with pay stubs and such.

Two

But ?

Is his current job above the %125 to support you and him? If yes then you need to provide information about his current job with either pay stubs or employer letter or both to show how his current income is higher than last years or in your case his new job is better and enough for both of you. It doesn't matter if he has worked on 6 months, they are looking for calendar year income information. I had a co-sponsor, meaning i had i864a with me and my brother to show the support I will be getting for my husband and my brother just started his new job this year so I had him produce his paystubs from 4 months to show the current income. It worked. my case was approved and is now at the embassy. also my brother's last 3 years' income was not what the demand is but it doesn't matter since they look mostly into current income.

If your husband is providing for you and sponsoring you alone, it will be best to do i864ez as it is easier to fill out than doing i864.

We wanted to get his mom to be a joint sponsor but she doesn't seem to care and we have an interview in a week, so I'm just worried if this will work out with us, even though his last year is alright but previous two are way below the line..

I've read somewhere that somebody got denied because of it..
