Anyone familiar with expedite request for interviews?

I've sent an expedite request due to sudden medical concerns with my wife. It seems like my interview might be on December just by looking at the spreadsheet, was/still hoping for mid November.

Anyways, at this point, will they consider the request?

I'm sorry to read your wife is sick I hope get better soon and you can join her as soon as possible. Blessings

Hi all. Wanted to do a quick review of my husband's medical at Andrews in Kingston for those coming behind us and didn't know where to post it. His appt was at 10:00. He reached there right at 10 and was there til 3:00. He said there wasn't a lot of people but it was a lot of waiting. He did a chest X-ray, gave a urine and blood sample, and had to get one shot, as he had a nurse in Spanish Town give him the immunizations beforehand at a fraction of the cost. The doctor basically went over the medical history form and asked questions like did he smoke, has he ever heard voices, or has he ever tried to harm himself or someone else. He said they told him normally they give you a date to pick up the results but they will send his results to the embassy. His interview is in 2 weeks. When we called to try to reschedule his medical for an earlier date due to the additional testing by the CDC (no earlier dates available), she said the results wouldn't be back in time and the embassy was aware. So I'm guessing (and praying) that's the only reason they're sending them straight to the embassy.

Thanks Karla!

My request has been received and under review.

I'd called earlier and they are not sure if they're still scheduling for CDJ at this time.

I have a question about the vaccines for the medical exam. I tried searching and I wasn't able to find an answer as most of the posts on this on visajourney were a few years old.

The medical letter shows a whole bunch of vaccines that are needed. But it also says the doctor will determine which are necessary based on age and medical condition. More research shows that they will only require the ones that are appropriate on the CDCs age schedule. So, here's the schedule I was able to find from the CDC. http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/schedules/downloads/adult/adult-schedule-easy-read.pdf

The way I read all this is that my wife, who is 39, would not be required to get anything that's highlighted in blue unless she has other risk factors. Am I reading this correctly or does she need the whole list?

Thanks,

after studying in the USA for 2years, how do I obtain a police clearance from the United States? I need assistance please. Thanks

You do not need a police clearance for the US. Click on the option for police certificate and read the *note.
