Hey guys,

My case status since 3rd of October says "Ready", so it's into embassy :) But when I checked the ceac site I saw a change, the AOS fee changed back to PAID. This is something normal or what?

Thanks!

Changes back to PAID after interview is scheduled.

Hi All, Trust everyone is well.

I am now in the US (Atlanta) with hubby. My POE was JFK and my flight arrived 5.55am on Saturday so the airport was not busy. The only queues were people on the vistors visa.I was lead to the queue of 'first timers' and no queue. The Officer was pretty nice asked a few question and that was it; he didn't even take the CD from the medicals. I was done in 5minutes. The officer said 'welcome to America and I'll miss u' LOL

Thank you all and wish all the best on your remaining visa journey.

Welcome to America. The CD is your keepsake. POE don't care about that. All they need is sealed in the brown envelope.

Got my interview for November 29. I'm sure this has been asked a million times, but how long is it usually between interview and actually having the visa in our hands? Our lease runs out at end of December so we need to be out of here by then. Thanks for any help!

Well its not automatic you have to pay for it first. Once he gets his Visa then you can either pay the $165 fee before he comes or after he arrives. No matter.

Instructions about the green card and payment is on the 1st post.

And yes it will be sent to the address given on the DS-260.

Is it possible to change the address?

No why unless you don't have a need to know right away and rather find out you have an interview 2 or 3 weeks later than sure watch the CEAC status change. But 99.9% here wait to hear their embassy has been scheduled and call. No way I'm waiting on a maybe I called NVC everyday sometimes 2 to 3 days. That's how I get all my intel and tips and tricks. I quizzed those reps like I am CSI. hehe.

Is it possible to change the address?

You didn't give new address at interview? Then give it at the POE make sure they have it and also now change it on the uscis.gov site before you pay for your card.

Hello Dwheels,

Had my medicals yesterday at Qlife Hospital VI. Cost was N122,125.00. I have another vaccination in the next one month of which I have to pay another N24,000.00. Cost of medicals varies based on age preference.

Result: Scheduled for pickup after two weeks.

I have a question, Do I have to schedule a biometric appointment also? I see people on here scheduling for biometrics, Do I need to do that here in Nigeria? Thanks.
