letter - intend to get married

I just received the letter from USCIS that they want my fiancee' to provide the letter that she intend to get married me when she arrives to United States. We are willing to do so. Do we need to provide the original letter or can we scan, print and send to USCIS? Thanking you all in advance.

An originally signed letter from her might be the best thing to send to USCIS. The VJ experts may know differently.

A statement of intent to marry is required from both the USC petitioner and the foreign fiance(e). It states this in the I-129F instructions. They can type out a statement, sign it and then scan and email it to you for you to print and mail.
