Will it be a red flag??

Hello guys

My husband is usa citizen by birth. His parents nationality is Bangladeshi and my nationality is also bangladeshi. My husband live long time in Bangladesh from 2000 to 2009 and in 2009 he back to usa.our religion is also same. Will it be a red flag to get my visa? My visa class cr1. Need your advice guys. Thanks in advance.

I am not clear on what you think might be a red flag, but based upon the information you provided it seems like you have a simple case

Your husband is Bangladeshi, and so are you so not a red flag there

The whole purpose of Immigration Visa process is to allow people of different nationality to enter USA with the intention to migrate (or not...depending on the person him/her self). So I don't see any issue there. If you are worried about him staying overseas for 9 years, many people stay overseas for variety of reasons, it would not be considered a red flag unless there is some other issue(s) that we are not aware of.

As of now it doesn't look like there's any red flag. Just make sure that if there were any previous marriages on either side, they are legally dissolved. Also make sure to disclose every detail inquired in the forms and do not hide any material facts and you should be fine.

Sorry for late reply, Thank you Meg&Andrew for asking. I didn't get any call from IOM. 8 weeks is completed today. I think the result will be negetive. I have to wait for october 4 because 60 will be complete on that day.

Hey there,

So sorry to hear of the delays caused for your interview date due to further testing. Have IOM sorted out everything for you? (As they are responsible in sending your medical report to the US Consulate Dhaka) You should give them a call, or visit them if possible to chase the matter up. In my case I have used Green Crescent so wouldn't know how IOM would work.

As for red flags, everything looks fine, you have nothing to worry about

Thank you Dazzelz for your reply. Yes IOM sent report on 6 october and then i called to the embassy. Embassy got the report on 13 october and give me a new interview date on 26 october. Did you already attend the interview?
