One of your best resources for this kind of information will be the documentation provided by your embassy/consulate and in most cases, the website of the embassy/consulate. Good luck.

You will receive a list from the consulate of what needs to be on hand for the interview and in what order it needs to be presented in.

Generally, they require:

They will sight the original of documents and keep the photocopy.

  • Birth Certificates
  • Police Certificates
  • Any name change certificates
  • Current Marriage Certificate
  • Any Divorce and Prior Marriage Certificates
  • Medical
  • The latest tax return etc if not submitted to NVC with the I-864 (e.g. I-864 submitted to NVC including up to 2004 tax return. My interview was in June 2006 so 2005 tax return was requested at the interview.)
  • Evidence of a bona fide marriage/relationship. Some examples - Photos, email, letters & cards (not only from your spouse but family and friends that show acknowledgement of the marriage), phone records, if you are both already listed on a lease together etc.

In general anything already supplied to NVC in the original along with the DS-230 are not required to be submitted again as they are already in your case file.

Honestly, in Morocco I wouldn't risk only have photos. Some consulates are tougher than others, and unfortunately Morocco can be tough.
