Hey everyone, I'm coming back with so much sadness cause my wife and I have been going through so much disappointment. We have been looking for a joint sponsor for over than three months now but in vain. My wife doesn't know many and all of them weren't qualified to sponsor. We are desperately looking for a solution. My question is that is it possible to hire a lawyer and the lawyer can take care of it? Any reply is appreciative Tnx

Sure you can hire a lawyer pay them I am sure some bank money and ask them to be your joint sponsor just like you asked everyone else. That's how the lawyer can "Take care" of this.

Hey everyone, I had started a similar topic before but just lost it since they have updated their site. However, I'm coming back for more questions regarding my case.

As I told you before that after my interview I was handed over a paper of 221g the CO asked for a joint sponsor and I was put through Administrative processing! So it's been 3 months now my wife and I were waiting for a women who took up the mission to help us but she failed us in the end and decided to give in. My question is that my wife knows two people who are actually a couple, is it possible for a couple to be a joint sponsor who lives together for me? I mean they are two persons not one to sponsor? Any reply is appreciated to add up the consular officer asked for I-864 to fill out. Tnx in advance

Hey everyone. Back for another question I really need to find out. So since my wife and I were asked for a joint sponsor, my wife communicated with the embassy and she suggested if she could submit new papers since she started working and include a member of her family in the papers as a household member so they exceed the guideline poverty. However, they replied and confirmed that she could do it. As you know I had my interview previously and I was given a letter asking for a joint sponsor and going through administrative processing. So my wife sent me the papers and I submitted the papers since my wife got a job along with her household member both make more than the poverty guideline. It's been a month since I submitted papers and now my wife quit her job for some reasons about two days ago and now she is looking for another place. What I wanted to ask is that do we have to report that my wife had quit her job cause my wife told me we have to or we should wait till we know what they decide regarding our case? It's been 6 months since the interview date that I had and a month since we submitted our new papers. What should we do? My wife is very possible to get a new job. Thanks for your help in advance.

Your wife couldn't have held out until you got you immigrated?! No offense, but how stupid is that.... A little thinking before acting might come in handy...

You have to report the changes and fill out a new I-864, including for the household member which is now the joint sponsor
