Hey...do whatever you want! Just trying to save you the trouble. USCIS has already approved your NOA2. So your I-130 has been approved and is in the hands of NVC (State Dept.). Your file is in NVC control, not the USCIS. I provided the link in the previous post from the State Department clearly explaining that once I-130 is approved, the K-3 is dead.

A tiny number are approved and the time difference is minuscule, does cost more and has other issues,

I know this you can only apply for a K3 before you get the NOA 2. That what i was told by USCIS. My friend did it.

OMG!!!!!!!!! The case is at NVC of course they already have NOA2. You really need to be better informed.

I would like to apply for a b1/b2 visa for my husband, I filed a cr1 for him and it's at the Nvc for 4 months now, what are your thoughts???

very late to this party but... you can apply however, considering that Kgn is out of visitors visa for this year, it doesn't make sense. You wouldn't get a date for this year and the chances of you getting the B1/b2 considering visas are limited and you are almost at interview, they would probably deny you. They are now only approving emergency cases. I suggest you guys wait on NVC. I think the supervisors review after just 6 weeks was a bad idea because it added a possible 60 days on your case. My case took just over 6 weeks to complete. I know its hard to wait but sometimes a little patience goes a long way. I waited almost 2 months after having my visa to POE, hard but sometimes patience is the best thing. Think about the fact that its a little wait to spend the rest of your lives together... Is it worth it? a few more weeks for the rest of your life. You can do it man, just hang in there.

There is no annual limit on visitor visas -- as many eligible applicants who apply can be approved.

Tell that to the embassy and the release they put out and all the people who can't get an appointment. Although they claim that there is no quota they did specifically say there are no dates available for the rest of the year which boils down to the same thing.
