What is the difference between PAcket 3 and Packet 4??? (Urgent)

Abu dhabi embassy emailed us today stating that "you have already received the packet 4 so no need for the packet 3" Im so confused about this email coz we havent received anything from them. And my fiance also received an email that they have already emailed all the notification instructions last july! How would that be possible? Our noa2 expires on Oct 14, 2016. Interview is on Oct 18. And an expired Noa2 is a problem.

Help please! This is really important!

first of all keep the application ongoing by email, phone calls and letters

email the embassy and say "did not recieve packet 3"

what is packet 4? so long since i did K1 visa application

Hi,

The info provided by immigration are unfortunately not up to date. Embassies no longer issue a Packet 3 and 4; they just do one - which is Packet 4. This packet is the email with your interview date info and possibly the link to sign up for your passport collection after the interview is over and you get approved for the visa.

So no worries :)

Hi thank yoj for the response!

Is the packet 4 coming from the consulate? Or is that the receipt which i got after paying the visa fee? There are instructions also.

How did you find out about your interview? Wasn't an email sent? THAT email with your interview info IS the Packet 4....it is no longer a physical package as we have gone far into the technology stage an seldom use physical paper trails.

Thats the thing we didnt get an email from them. I emailed embassy again to send me a packet 3 one more time hopefully they reply.

So guys I have a question regarding I 134 affidavit of support, its aski for a certificate of citizenship number if US citizenship was acquired through parents. But I never got that, all we ever got was a US passport? Any help with this one guys?

Another question guys, since i dont have the certificate of citizenship all I have is a passport since I acquired citizenship through my father will a copy of all pages of my passport be enough to be able to see that i am a US citizen. Also how much do you need to have in your bank account to be able to say that its enough?
