Has anyone tried a biometric early walk-in in Ft. Myers, Florida? This is where my appointment is booked. Thank you for any answers!

Hi,

I haven't tried personally but I know for a fact that some offices do not frown upon persons who do walk-ins. However, this is from their website info - Fingerprinting services are by appointment only.

I saw that too (appointments only). I was going to try but I think I will just book a hotel the night before instead. I don't want to ruffle any feathers! My appt. is for 9 a.m. and it's a 2 hour drive if the construction and traffic is flowing... i'd rather just stay nearby and be there on time and composed.

I like that you used the expression of ruffling feathers and that you have owls in your picture :)

As for your questions, I founds it's usually helpful to look at review for the local USCIS offices here and see if others have been successful with walk-ins, but I don't see Fr. Myers as one of the options. http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/

Well just an update, I did "walk in" to the office in Fort Myers one day earlier than my appointment, mainly due to the hurricane coming and hoping to get back home before any weather made the drive dangerous. They were actually not busy (this was yesterday) and I was in and out in 20 minutes. This office is an application support office and I think they only do fingerprinting and photo's there (biometrics) as opposed to any type of interviewing. So it is possible to 'walk-in' at Fort Myers for biometrics, however, I did have a good excuse with the weather situation. Good luck to everyone and to all in Florida and the East coast watching the weather today.
