My Husband recieved the following letter which states the information below:

"Notice of Action, I-797

CASE TYPE : I130 petition for alien relative

Receipt Date: August 24, 2016

Priority Date: August 22, 2016

Notice Date: September 9, 2016

Notice Type: Approval Notice Section: Husband or Wife of US Citizen 201(b) INA

The Above petition has been approved, we have sent the original visa petition to the NVC ... etcetc "

Is this the NOA-2? When can I expect an Interview at the Local embassy based on the information above?

I am rather surprised that this could be NOA-2, since we started the process in late august 2016.

My Husband has recieved a reciept letter before this one arrived.

We have not received any communication from NVC however under the USCIS case status we had a receival update on August 24th and it was updated to this last : "On September 9, 2016, we approved your Form I-130, Immigrant Petition for Relative, Fiance(E), or Orphan.. etcetc" Both our acceptance and a approval letters were obtained by post.

That was a fast approval. Read through the steps in the guide. Is it a Delhi or Bombay interivew.
