hi fellows! :help:

I have a question that I heard if a US Citizen is sponsoring fiance (K1 Petition) he or she needs to have police clearance certificate from the US Police too. Is this true? I went through the USCIS web site (www.uscis.gov) but found no such an info.

Please update me about this new law (if there is any)

thanks!

Perhaps this is to do with the new 'Marriage Brokers Law' but I have yet to see any details of how or what is needed to be supplied by the petitioner/sponsor in K-1 cases. Whatever it is, its all at a standstill right now as the law has been challenged and is before the court.
