I have never been to a wedding where the bride and groom write their own vows, but this is something that we want to do...what sort of things should be in them?

Whatever is important to you as a couple...your expressions of love and committment. You might do a google search for non traditional wedding vows - that might give you some examples of what others have come up with. Good luck!

We wrote our own and it made everyone cry at the wedding. We said the sort of things that were in our hearts and important to us both like honesty, trust and being ourselves.
