Odd he said he was an USCIS immigration officer for 26 years. My 90 days is in 4 days time. I was going to start pulling all my documents together and getting it out next week.

I am a tad confused regarding your time line, it says you applied for the N400 in 2016 and applied for ROC in 2015, so why would your 90 days come around in 4 days time, since you already filed? Are you filing under the 3 year rule or 5 year rule and have you already applied and applied too soon?  Even so if you applied for ROC in 2015 and heard nothing that is nearly 3 years waiting, have you not done a service request, or info appointment or contacted an Ombudsman as it is so out of processing times that it isn't even funny!

Not beyond the realms of possibility, and must be under the five year rule.

My original I-751 filed in 2015 is just shy of 1000 days now, and will hit it a week or so before I file my N-400 under five year eligibility.

I feel awful for you, you've been through the mill with USCIS, however, looking at the OP's timeline it says they have already applied for N400 in December 2016, if memory serves me correctly,.

So the question is why would the OP then be applying again shortly and why would the OP not have contacted USCIS before?  Unless they have and neglected to mention this in their original post. I am  also just a bit confused as to why they haven't rang  USCIS before now. Perhaps the OP doesn't travel, doesn't need their driving license updated etc.

That is correct, so don't panic. You will be called in for the biometrics, but maybe not right now.

Here's a link explaining it:

Im even more confused as to why you dug up something that is a year old. I did 3 service requests which led to nothing. My problem was I went for my N400 interview and I was told I passed the test. In my service center mount laurel NJ they normally do the citizenship ceremony the same day but she told me she wanted some more info and would write out asking for it in a few days. A few weeks went by and nothing no a sound even my congress man couldn't get any information as to what they were looking for. So it ended up I had to go via the ombudsman to find out what she wanted which was another copy of my 2016 taxes. So i made a service request went down handed them in and got sworn in 2 days later.

You are correct. I filed for my N400 before my I-751 was approved. It was taking a while so i decided to "push" it with the N400. I was called for the N400 interview but I was only interviewed for the I-751. I was told I would be called back as soon as the I-751 is approved. It was approved three months after interview.

So they didn’t interview you for N400? Did you have a follow up interview for N400? Or did they approve your naturalization too without another interview?
