Well I'm sitting here knocking off my first night on call for the bloodbank and there's not much action.

I'll have to hit the road sometime cuz I'm expecting some testresults from the HQ's lab concerning a unit that's needed during a surgery tomorrow morning. When I get the results I'll know which units can serve that purpose

So in the meantime I'm killing time on the "general purpose computer" ;)

OK Central here :P

Well, the call from the lab didn't come, I was assuming they'd send the units to the hospital by courier, so I called HQ myself only to find out it had not passed screening yet.

In the end I went to pick it up myself at the end of my on call-shift and dashed to the hospital. They got it on time for the surgery... Praise from my supervisor for quick thinking and good judgement.... but I'm knackered now

Gonna take a shower and konk out on the couch ... and report back for duty at 2:30pm
