Where do I get a No Record of Marriage Certificate??

Hope someone can answer this, since I have no idea what American Govt. agency would keep these records.

Because of too many to count delays, of being able to bring my fiancee here to US, because of her annulment in the Philippines having to be started all over from the beginning, again. We gave up on that, and since I all along had planned to move to the Philippines 4 years or so after she came here, I am moving there in a couple months. Her second annulment is getting close to being finished late this year or early next year it looks like.

In order for me to marry over there though, one of there requirements since I have never been married before, is to prove it, so anyone know what agency in the US, would have such records so I can contact them to get a No Record of Marriage Certificate.

You have to get that at the embassy in the Philippines not in the USA.

The affidavit should not be a problem I hope. I had read that somewhere when I was trying to find an answer, myself.

The Philippines is so redundant with all the paperwork they require for everything though, so just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas of any papers they might also want. I dont want to get over there and find out they want some additional piece of paper that I dont have.

I am going there on an SRRV visa til we can get married, then will change it to a 13a. Dealing with there Govt. makes our Govt. look like a finely tuned car, compared to all the things they "require", the worst part is that when I ask a question to one Govt. agency and then ask the same question to another Govt. agency, I often get 2 totally contradicting answers.

I know all countries have different policies. Ukraine had something similar.....I had to go to the US embassy and swear under oath that I was eligible for marriage.....They gave me a legal document to give to the registry (ZAGS).....You might check the US embassy web site in PI to see if that is offered or what is needed

Don't know that they need a link to the immigrant visa as he stated he is moving there.
