Hi, I arrived here in the USA with my 11 year old daughter on a k1 visa. I just married my American citizen husband and we are trying to work out what to do next. Can someone tell me all the forms that I need to file? Do we have to do th petition or relative again even though we did that so I could get my K1 visa? Also do I need another medical or is the one I took in australia (in september 06) enough? It's so confusing and any help would be very much appreciated.

Welcome to VJ. Honestly, to explain in one little thread what is to be done next in it's entirety would be just about impossible. The best advice is to spend some time looking through the FAQs Guides (link at the top) and then come back, once you have overloaded your brain and ask questions to fill in the holes. There will be holes - and we'll be happy to fill them in at that point :wacko: It still makes my head spin thinking of it all!

Jul 5 - Receipt date for I-130 petition for my over 21 brother and his wife (both in the UK)

2024

Feb 23 - Sent USCIS a message asking for a processing update

May 6 - Received an email response saying things were progressing normally but that waiting times might be longer

2014

Feb 25, 26 & 28 - got emails saying that the cases had been transferred to another office, then to my local office, and then just transferred and are being processed

Mar 17 - got email, attached to one case number only, saying that my A number was changed relating to the I-130 filing
