This may seem like a silly question, but could someone please tell me exactly what I need to assemble my initial application package for K1 fiance visa? I read on the site to use ACCO top loading binder and clips with tabs. So what exactly do I need to buy? Do I need to buy the binder AND clips or just a binder with the clips included? I just want to make sure I order and have the right thing. Thanks so much!

Put the pages in the right order. Use a big clip to hold them all together. Slip into envelope. Send.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

If you want to use ACCO binders, then you need a two-hole punch, and one box of ACCO binders. The box will have both the back clips and the front plates. Our file was quite large, so I had 5 sections - each with an ACCO fastener. Then I put all 5 sections together with one rubber band, and put it into a mailing box.

Good luck to you!

Good morning!

I am assembling my package as we speak to mail tomorrow, using an ACCO clip to keep it all together. I have three questions...

1) Should the Cover Letter be two hole punched and fastened, or left on top loose?

2) Where does the G-1145 (e-Notification) page go? Above or below the Cover letter? Should it be two holed punched and fastened as well with the ACCO clip?

3) I have the check to the US Department of Homeland Security in a plastic bag. I know this is the first thing in the package. Should it be clipped to the Cover Letter or the G-1145 (depending which is the first page) with a paper clip?

Thank you... and I can not wait to be done this step.
