We are at DS230 stage. My husband forwarded me a DS230 Part I. Filling form is easy. But I have few questions regarding the passport.

1. What exactly is the biometrics page of the passport? Is it the first page?

2. Should I update my passport to reflect the new status? I filed I-130 and other papers using my new title and new last name. Should I go and change it now or just wait til interview?

Thank you for your responses.

1. The biometrics page is the page containing your name, date and place of birth.

2. A visa will be issued in your passport name. It is up to you what you wish. I had a new passport issued in my married name and my married name was used on all forms. That was my personal choice to keep it all uniform.
