travelling with ap and some overstay.

I am a K1 applicant. got married in november. my i-94 expired in january, and I filed for aos only in june. I have about 150-155 days of overstay (calculated in between my expiry date on the i-94 and the received date on my aos application. 160 days if i count noa1).

last week I finally got my EAD/AP combo card, my AOS is still pending (no RFIE or RFE so far). Will these 150-160 days of overstay be a problem for my travel back to the US after my wedding abroad? I did stop accumulating overstay the moment I filed for AoS, right? my biggest fear is to get a ban the moment we are travelling back. My husband has lost countless days of sleep over it.

also, what other documents do I need to take with me? my noa2 nor the letter that came with my combo card specified which documents I should take with me.

also, my passport and ticket are in my maiden name. I have heard people talk about getting a stamp in your passport that you are "wife of xxx" but I cannot make it to the embassy before we leave as it is a 6 hour drive and my husband works jusy about every day until our date of departure 2 weeks from now. Will a certified copy of our marriage certificate do instead of that passport stamp?

People carry a copy of their marriage certificate with them all the time, not just for air travel.

It (pun intended) marries your maiden name and your immigration status.

I had Mrs. T-B. carry our m-certificate everywhere, even locally, until her green card arrived.

are we allowed to fold it? or is a copy of a certified marriage certificate enough?

Will the overstay not give me any difficulties re entering?

A folded copy is fine, as long as deep creases don't obliterate key information.

Others will be along re the overstay.

Since your AOS is pending, the period after the I94 expired will be forgiven. As T-Bone mentioned, keep a copy of your marriage certificate with you when traveling (even after you get your GC), but you may also want to keep a copy of the AOS NOA1 letter as well until you actually receive the GC.
