For those who have obtained an attorney to represent your case for i751 how much did you pay her/him?

I'm trying to use the same layer I did for my original filing but she wants $3500 not including government fees.

I feel it's bit much but not sure how much is the average.

The ROC is such an easy DIY process that I'm surprised anyone would pay a lawyer to file for them.

Location Boston too. I was given one quote $2000 (RFE additional) and another one $2600 ($750 additional to go to interview) by a "premium" immigration lawyer service.

Didn't take either because they didn't convince me what they can do that I cannot do...

To me unless you have a situation such as a divorce waiver or a situation where for personal reasons you can't live together and you have weak evidence I would definitely try to do it by yourself. As a middle ground, www.avvo.com offers you the ability to find lawyers who will review your forms for a fee and get a 30 minute consultation so maybe a good median solution. All the best

Thanks all. I tried to fill the form today and have a couple of questions. The USCIS instruction ask us to put N/A for questions that does not apply to us. But if you don't have any children do you fill N/A to the first one of the last name or just keep filling N/A for all of them? There are about 2 pages worth-up to child #5.

Also if I don't have a middle name do I leave it blank or put None?

It is understood that if your don't have a 1st child, it is impossible to have a second.
