My Fiance is in Santo Domingo. Sounds like it may be worth a trip to Azua. Whats the name/website of the place in Azua and DR? Thanks!

ElCalvito83, muchas gracias. Thank you. Is it possible to have your passport on hand the same day you apply? For instance, if we go next Tuesday, is it possible to leave Tuesday with passport already issued? Thanks!

Also, I could not find the addresses to the passport offices. Any help? Thanks!

You will arrive at embassy take nothing with you but cab fare and your paperwork.

You will stand outside in lines the coenside with your interview time.

You will pass security and you will get a number.

Then one of you will stand in line (my fiancee did) and the other will sit. When you arrive at window they will ask you for passport, birth cert, ds160, papel de buena conducta and any divorces. They give you domestic violance form.

You will take a seat wait for number to be called.

Once number called its your interview like a bank you stand on one side consul on other. They will ask you questions you can turn in evidence and they will approve or deny you or hand you a form.

If approved your passport will be kept and you can check ceac website for status.

I was in AP which everyone goes through approved or denied.

Then once issued you will pick up at document pick up location you selected.

We picked mbe mega centro same day issued we picked up.....

Hi Anitafeliz, thank you for your thorough response....but I think you misunderstood my question. I was asking about what to expect when applying for passport not what to expect for the day of the interview. Information is still very helpful! Thanks :)
