what is CFO??? is it required in getting a K1 visa in manila?

Flight from Manila to Seoul was great, then a 12 hour layover in Seoul, that sucked big time. Flight to Seattle from Seoul was long and the plane was warm too. Once we got to Seattle it was so worth it.

07/19/07 - Filed for AOS

10/15/07 - NOA for AOS

12/06/07 - Interview for Green Card approved in Seattle, good for 2 years.

12/18/07 - Green Card in the mail...wooo hoooo...will apply in 2 years for conditions removal.

yes that way you can get the sticker too. You cant get the sticker until you have your passport back after the interview. When she goes to St Lukes they will keep the passport. My girl got her CFO done before her medical and interview. She will go back after her interview to get the sticker. We are just trying to get things done before her interview. She is doing the medical early too. Oh yea and CFO is a total of 650PhP.

oops sorry

Make sure you do CFO before the medical or after interview. St Lukes keeps the passport and then forwards it to the consular for the interview. Passport is needed at CFO registration....

Claudeth did her CFO in Cebu. That is where she caught the international flight so decided to do it there rather than going to Manila so you do have options.

Cebu was much more convenient for her because her Mother went with her. They got there on a Sunday, she took the CFO on a Monday and got on the plane on Tuesday and her Mom flew back to Cagayan after putting her in the international airport. We felt it would be easier than dealing with Manila again. Besides, we both really love Cebu :P

I also learned about this CFO thing here. It is some sort of an orientation seminar about the kind of new life filipinos are going to encounter in another country. It is required by the philippine government. But you can have it after the interview. Make sure to have it. The immigration will be looking for the sticker at the airport.
