Spelling mistake on police report - problem?

My husband just received his police report from Russia, 2 months and about $100 later. There is a spelling mistake in his middle name (the patronymic), in Cyrillic characters (o instead of a). Will this be a problem? He is trying to call the embassy now, but so far they're not picking up the phone. His first and last name are fine.

Same here ?. Their is one letter difference in his first name. I sent it in anyway and hubby is currently working on getting it fixed.

The embassy is refusing to change it. We've had so many problems with them!

I'm hoping it will just go unnoticed since it's in the Cyrillic part (maybe the immigration official wouldn't even read Cyrillic script anyways, or bother to), and the document will have to be translated anyways.
