Huh? Why is it not appropriate if undergarment lines show?

IMO it's generally considered a faux pas if your outfit is causing noticeable panty-lines. Seamless panties do help, but I don't feel personally comfortable showing the lined definition of my underwear. Somewhere along the way the fashion gods handed down these rules to women.. so showing off visible lines is something most seek to avoid at all costs.

Then don't wear any. Saves on laundry detergent, as well as clothing budget! ;)

During the 1960's Romper Room was shown on KTVT Channel 11, an independent station at that time, in the Dallas - Ft. Worth area. Channel 11 showed the syndicated version of Romper Room with "local cut-ins." My ex-teacher became the hostess of these local cut-ins. Here is a link to the Wikipedia page for Romper Room: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romper_Room.

Here is a video. My ex-teacher looked similar to this lady.

How many times did she say "I see Carlos" through that mirror? Yeah I'm an old too.

We also had "The Electric Company" with Rita Moreno and another local show called "Zoom" which had local kids as hosts of the show.

I think in the few years I watched that show she only said my name once. That was a big deal when we were 4 years old.

How bout Rex Trailer and The Major Mudd Show? I was on both of those shows as a kid through my Cub Scout troop.

I wasn't sure if they were syndicated or not. I don't remember Nervous One, when was that on?

Oh nevermind, Nervous One was Major Mudds spaceship, correct?

Found this on the Major. He died in 1979 and is buried in Scituate, MA. I didn't realize that show ran for 14 years.

Edward T. "Major Mudd" McDonnell

Birth:

Sep. 30, 1926

Philadelphia

Philadelphia County

Pennsylvania, USA Death: Oct. 30, 1979

Boston

Suffolk County

Massachusetts, USA trans.gif

Ed T. McDonnell played Major Mudd, the beloved host of The Major Mudd Show, the long-running New England kids show (1961-1975) that featured cartoons and Three Stooges shorts. This led to his appearance - along with other kids show hosts of the time - in the later Three Stooges film The Outlaws is Coming. Ed was also the voice of the puppet horror movie host Feep on Fantasmic Features. Later in the early 70's, the Major Mudd Show became Skittle Alley. Ed McDonnell passed away due to kidney failure brought on by diabetes in 1979.

Those programs were not shown in DFW when I was a kid. My favorite program was a show called Slam Bang Theatre hosted by a character named Icky Twerp. They showed Three Stooges films and cartoons.
