GOOD LUCK TO YOU BOTH!!!!! I HOPE ALL GOES WELL!

This is VERY good news Ella. Yes, they will interview him again, so be prepared for them to ask to speak to you, make sure he tells them you are there...he can even take your passport inside with him to prove you are there.

I know you probably know all of this, but take ALL of your evidence of relationship inside with you, including what they already have, and everything between now and the reaffirmation. Try to think of ANYTHING they will ask for and bring it with him to the interview. Insh'allah everything will be fine. I'm praying for you both!

hello kiyah, thank you so much, i wont be there with him... last year when i did go with him they didnt even let me in the front door....

Ok, since you can't be there may I suggest some things that will help? If you have emails, letters, copies of phone bills between him and your family, make sure he has a copy of them with him. Also, if your family has a good relationship with him it is a good idea for them to write letters to the consulate attesting to your relationship with him and the relationship they have with him...if this isn't something you provided in your rebuttal, it will really help. Letters from his family and friends who know you both as a couple are also good. I know time is short, but if you can swing the letters to the consulate from your families, I would send them directly to the consulate as well as have him take copies of these letters to the interview.

Letters from family/friends to the consulate should have the following as they would be treated like an affidavit:

  1. Name, address, date and place of birth of the person writing the letter.
  2. Relationship to petitioner and beneficiary.
  3. Notarized signature (not required, but a good idea if it is possible).

Just make sure he is well prepared to provide everything possible. I really wish you luck, and will be praying for you both.

kiyah, i think they have everything they need at this point...both k-1s are together like they wanted, they only asked ahmed to renew his medical and police reports....so i think we will be all set....they have all that with the last k-1 i sent( for that one was all the proof)i really think we will be ok this time....

~ Returns & Refusals...What They Don't Tell You ~

DISCLAIMER: I am not an attorney, all information provided is from years of research and personal experiences of those affected by returned visa petitions/applications. If this is happening to you, my personal advice is to research the facts, hire a good immigration lawyer who can demonstrate they specialize in returned/denied visa petitions and applications.
