Hi everybody,

We just received an email from NVC stating the following:

Subject: ****NVC Notice of Missing Item: Please submit Form DS-260 ****

The National Visa Center (NVC) received the documents you submitted in support of XXXXX immigrant visa petition. This petition's NVC case number is XXXXXX. However, NVC will not review these documents until we receive an Immigrant Visa Application (Form DS-260) for each intending immigrant. Form DS-260 must be completed and submitted to NVC online at ceac.state.gov.

We already submitted this form for both of his parents on July 23rd..sent all financial and civil docs on July 23rd as well. NVC received all docs couple of days later. It even shows online that we submitted DS 260 for both of his parents..... not sure what to do now because on the bottom of that email its telling me that they will take additional 6 weeks to review. It`s been 2 months since we submitted all the docs to them.

Has anybody experienced this????

Probably a false checklist showing they reviewed the AOS docs and IV docs. Cal and see.

How did you get it resolved? I called NVC the rep told me its probably an error because its an automated email, i am unable to resubmit it as it has been submitted back in July. I am afraid to ignore this email as they may not continue the case. I was thinking to at least mail the confirmation email to them showing that the form was submitted in July.

If you've submitted it then its a false checklist. Look those up on here.

Hi guys

I received an email from NVC saying that your DS-260 form is missing. But, I already mailed my DS-260 confirmation with my supporting documents. I called NVC and they said that "we now sent it to supervising". You guys know how long normally does it take to get approved?

Thanks

No it was for the i-864 but I was told that anything going to supervisor review can take up to 45 days since they were backlogged

I called NVC and they told me that "we now sent it to supervising and it takes 6 weeks". So, I wanted to know they told you the same timeline and you got approved exactly after 6 weeks?
