How to request to talk to tier2 ?

Hi, is there anybody know how to request to talk to tier2? Can I just call 800 number then request to talk to supervisor right away? I just got off the phone with the call center or whatever about that I didn't get my missing notice for 30 days not. And all they can do is putting down service request and ask me to wait for another 15 days. Thank you!

I think you need to go through the service request first, and if nothing happens during those 15 days you might be able to request to talk to a Tier 2.

Thank you for the answer. I did put service request from the first day this actually happen. Then call USCIS and they said let's wait 15 days. Then wait 15 more days. And 15 more again this time. So, I don't really know if the tier 2 can help me a little more.

I see. We had the same thing happening to us when we called them about our case taking longer than 5 months to get approved. We simply had to call and nag, eventually you end up with a person who will actually forward you to a Tier 2.

Most of the times we called all Tier 2s were busy so they called back within a day or two.

We got to Tier 2 a few times, yes.

They helped us getting our receipt number to work, and a couple of weeks later our petition was finally approved. I don't know for sure but I imagine that us calling and nagging a bit helped as they were "forced" to actually locate our file to see what was up with it. There are still December filers waiting to hear anything from USCIS since their NOA1, maybe we would've been in the same situation if we didn't call and nag, who knows.

Got a call transfer to tier2 but they were busy. Do they let you hang on the phone and wait or just leave them a call back info? I'm not sure how this work.

It depends. If it is a long wait, they sometimes give you the option of hanging up, and having them call you back when it is "your turn". Other times you just wait and wait and hope for the best. I remember one time I waited nearly 2 hours, then got the notice that they were done for the day, please call back the next day. Fun times!

I waited yesterday for 4 hours to have them call back...They did. just wait, they will call. Be persistent, they will try to rush you off the phone.

Thank you guys. I called at 8.02am the call center was really nice and didn't even try to ask me so many questions. The wait time was 116 minutes. But I got a call back after about an hour. The tier2 was polite but somehow I still feel like she wasn't really helpful to give me more info than what I expect anyway.

I usually say that Tier 2 knows nothing and Tier 1 knows a little less. They're all pretty useless but on different levels. I feel your frustration.

I think you may be right...I called yesterday at 11 they just called me back....on a saturday
