How long did it take from when you filed the application aboard to getting a approval or denial ??

Stupid question but when counting days I don't count Saturday or Sunday right ??

I was told 30 days and it's been over 30 days

We filed early Jan and got the reciept of the application by February 18 ,2014 but it takes months to get to the approval stage for I-130. It took another 6 months to get approved at California service center then you have to do the proof of sponsorship and counselor processing which we are still doing.

Filing at the embassy is a completely different process than the regular route it's usually between 1-6 months

I was looking for people who filed at the embassy not in the states but thx

Sure but don't you still have to do the regular filing and have background checks? That's what they do in states, on both of us, then we had to do counselor processing wich takes additional time like 6 months. Only ours is at three years and 6 months now. If I had stayed there I might have it done by now?

I filed the I-130 along with all the requirements and evidence as if I was sending to the states. I'm waiting for my husband appl to get to the nvc in dr and then we'll make a appointment for his visa/interview, he goes to his medical and obtains his police record for the interview

The USC doesn't need a police record

Not everyone is able to file at the embassy and only embassy with the uscis located within the embassy can file. Thankfully the consulate took my appl for my husband
