When should we expect ROC reminder

How long before our 2-year green card anniversary should we expect a ROC reminder notice from USCIS?

I ask this to be on the lookout if we plan to move around the 90-day window prior to the conditional green card expiration date. Thanks.

Around 90 days before but you might never get one. It's not important and they are not obligated to send one.

It's also likely they will send any reminder to the original address associated with your approved I-485, even if you have subsequently moved and filed a change of address with USCIS.

Usually best to handle the situation yourself and not rely on a reminder from USCIS.

If you move then you can have mail forwarding set up with USPS. That's what I did, and I moved around the time my RoC reminder was due. Once you move be sure to let the USCIS know. This can be done online. When I came to file my RoC, I added in the confirmation page showing I had changed my address with them. I also ended up filing a couple of months later than I expected (but still a few weeks before my GC was due to expire) so that I could submit evidence from financial institutions, utilities etc, showing my new address.

Mail from USCIS cannot be forwarded. It should only be delivered to the delivery address or returned to the return address.

You will see "Return Service Requested" at the top of all envelopes from USCIS indicating this.

I never received one. Moved twice before ROC, filed AR-11 in both cases. However, did not receive a reminder.

On page 2, "AR-11 system and reminder system are unable to communicate". Must be crazy difficult to keep a database up to date.

I should say however though, I moved one more time during the ROC, and that get the new card to the new address. At least some parts of AR-11 system works fine.

I'm one of the (apparently) few people who got a reminder AND at an address I moved to after initially immigrating and filing the AR-11. Once in a while, the stars do align and they get it all done right.

We got a reminder about a month before the 90-day window opened, but we didn't depend on that; we were already counting down the days to go.

Don't wait for a reminder. Be getting your materials ready, then you can send them off asap.
